Ever since you think of Himalayas, the one name that comes to mind is “Shiva”. Along with the ancient shrines, there are many temples that followed their footsteps. Towering so high and Located at Solan, Himachal Pradesh, Jatoli Shiva Temple is the highest Shiva Temple in Asia, Its tower measures to 111 feet, constructed in Southern Dravidian Style.

The temple’s ambience is so serene that the stones make the sound of Dhamaru made this place famous at the first. Swami Krishnananda Paramahansa visited this place during 1950’s and commenced the construction of this temple. It took over 39 years and was finished in 80’s. The temple has an exquisite Crystaline gem lingam along with beautiful modern carvings of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvathi.

When we observe Shiva temples across the nation, we often witness the geometrical patterns of octagon in the sanctum sanctorum. And most towers or vimana’s were constructed at the height of 111 feet, which truly symbolises the 111hz sound frequency, which the scientists now call it the divine frequency, and is now used to heal people with sound therapies.
